Pixel 10 to Launch at Made by Google 2025 With Gemini AI and Foldable Upgrades

Date:

August 18, 2025 – At its upcoming Made by Google event, the company is set to unveil the Pixel 10 lineup, which is expected to bring powerful Gemini AI features and upgraded hardware. The series—likely including the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold—will debut with the Tensor G5 chip and AI-driven tools like Camera Coach and natural voice-powered photo editing, according to TechCrunch.

Leaks suggest the standard Pixel 10 could be the first non-Pro model to feature a triple-camera setup with 5x telephoto zoom, a feature previously reserved for premium devices. Reports from The Verge and Tom’s Guide highlight that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold may also introduce IP68-rated durability, making it the first foldable to offer water and dust resistance. Spanish outlet Cinco Días adds that it could use aerospace-grade materials for extra toughness.

In terms of design, the Pixel 10 series is rumored to launch in new finishes like Moonstone and Jade, along with larger batteries and support for Qi2 wireless charging accessories such as PixelSnap. Details reported by TechRadar and Tom’s Guide also point to Gemini’s Speak-to-Tweak and Sketch-to-Image features, which allow users to edit photos with simple voice commands or drawings. Android Central and India Times note that these tools will further strengthen Google’s AI-first approach to mobile photography.

The launch event, scheduled for August 20, 2025, in New York, is also expected to introduce the Pixel Watch 4 with Wear OS 6 and expanded AI health features, plus possibly the Pixel Buds 2a. Additional teasers from TechRadar and Android Central suggest AI-powered software upgrades across Google’s ecosystem.
